Xbox Ones future... whats your thoughts?

Your saying the One is worse than thev360?

 

I gotta agree with Boas on the streaming comments.

I was streaming to my Vita shortly after launch and have the ability to stream PS4 games to any TV in my house via the PS TV (although I just use it for Vita games on the big screen).

The appeal of streaming to a PC with the One will be the same as it is for the PS options. It's gives single console or TV homes the ability to use other devices without buying another console which doesn't make MS any money so they'll find a way to make
a buck off all this.

Rand. I can't see how they could try and make money out of it tbh, not on top of someone already paying for Gold anyway.

 

Upto now, I'd class the 360 as the best console ms have produced and for its time.

I will be willing to bet that the Xbox app won't be just a streaming client but rather a digital client allowing people to play Xbox games on the PC......that's how they'll make money.

You open up the Xbox exclusives to a player base with 100's of millions of gamers and you'll make money.

 

Don't know about that tbh. I think ms are to aware that there name has been soiled to an extent, I find it hard to believe they'd do something that could potentially backfire. But guess we'll find out soon enough.

One of the big selling points of Win 10 is how easy it will be to port games between platforms so I see more of a reason to go from Xbox to PC than PC to Xbox. If you own a PC and the game is available on both platforms I don't see a reason to play it on
the Xbox.

You have a small group of the community that will somehow think the playing field won't be level with cross platform gaming but PC's have had different specs since the beginning of time and it's a non-issue.

 

With Microsofts latest round of mega lay offs, Im not sure the future is so bright (fingers crossed that it is).

 

I believe most of those layoffs (if not all) were in the phone division

 

@Genchy, yes i am saying the one is worse than the 360 when comparing it to the competion it had at the time. Same reason i say a ps2 is better than a ps3.

@Vaynel you are correct, but that only proves my point further lol.
