Xbox one's backwards compatibility won't work

I've talked to my local gaming shop and they can't explain it. My xbox one won't run backwards compatibility I've have and have tried the following

note the problem happens when I start up the game it says that I'm not signed in when I am and even if I sign in it signs me out.

-Xbox live gold

-active network connection

- checked game is available for backwards compatibility

- even tried downloading a game off the store but still didn't work

please respond!!

Backwards compatible?

Only the disc version is backwards compatible. A digital copy won't work.

I have a question about backwards compatibility

If it's not backwards compatible (and this game isn't) then no, it won't work. You can view the backwards compatibility list
here. If a game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox One.

 

Check too see if your account is a child account or adult account.

support.xbox.com/.../promote-child-account

Start a game up that is backwards compatible without signing into xbox live, then sign in.

Please let me know if either of those work.

 

Thanks but it still didn't work I'm set to an adult account if you know any other ways please contact me.

Also my Xbox is the limited edition halo 5 Xbox my friend bought an basic black Xbox and the same game works for him.
