Xbox OneGuide x Time Warner Cable 2d Error

Hello community,

I have Time Warner Cable with an Explorer 4642HDC box. When I first received the box and had it hooked up through my Xbox One everything was running great. Well then I started receiving a 2d error on my cable box and there was no picture or sound, spoke
with TWC tech support and they said it was because the resolution of my cable box was set to "Auto Detect" and not 1080i and that fixed it. Now I'm having a similar problem but I am getting a freezing picture that freezes about every 3 seconds and has no sound
and the resolution is set to 1080i. I have called TWC tech support but their support is a hit or miss, mostly a miss. I have tried just about everything, rebooting the box, making sure all connections are solid, even bought a new HDMI cable. Now the box to
my TV works perfectly, my Xbox works perfectly, but using the bypass is giving me issues.

Any suggestions?

Time Warner Channel Shuffle, OneGuide out of date

The great f...folks at Time Warner Cable have just shuffled their channel numbers in my area (78660)

As a result the OneGuide channel listings for Time Warner Cable 78660 are incorrect and need updating.

 

Xbox One and Samsung SMT-H3270 OneGuide (Time Warner)

I'm currently unable to use Xbox One's OneGuide with my Time Warner Cable provided Samsung SMT-H3270 cable box/DVR. Live TV works fine however the OneGuide set-up can't seem to find a power code to power up the DVR.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Was in your same boat and getting really frustrated. Ended up finding a random thread about clearing your aliterate MAC address and it solved my issue after my Xbox rebooted. Very random. Anyway go to settings, network, advanced settings, alternate MAC address,
clear. Hope this resolves your issue as well.
