    XBOX ONEGUIDE correction and volume feature


    Hi,

    I would like to let you know that there is a spelling mistake for channel 633 on Videotron TV listing. Channel 633 should be RDS instead of RSD. The error is in the voice command you have to say RSD to change channel.

    Also it would be nice to add some tweak to the volume up and volume down voice command. It is kind of annoying to repeat your self to raise the volume by 10db. We should be able to say volume up 10. This would raise the volume by 10.

    OneGuide Volume Too Low

    Ever since the last system update the volume in OneGuide is lower than what it was in the past. I have to turn my TV up to be able to hear it. But whenever I switch to something else, like Hulu or Netflix, the volume is blasting and I have to turn
    it down. Even the OS volume is louder than the volume in OneGuide.

    ever find a resolution to this one? i have an identical issue.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this is a known issue that these types of advanced set-top-box (STB) controls are not supported yet so you need to continue to use the STB remote? I'm in Canada and using a Media Center PC and the only thing that works
    as well is channel up / down, volume, and yelling at the tv to change channels. See here.

    FAQ for SmartGlass     it does not yet seem like it can change channels. You would therefore need the controller.

    Uh, it won't do that. "It can control the following devices and functions:

    Television: on/off, volume up/down and mute

    Cable or satellite receiver: on/off, channel selection (in supported regions)

    Audio-video (AV) receiver: on/off, volume up/down and mute"

    How can this post be marked with a verified answer? Nothing has been answered and the posted solution does not work. I'm having the same issue. Oneguide disappeared, now today the volume control option disappeared as well. Are these features being deliberately
    removed, or is there some problem with the app? Will they be restored? Give us a real answer, not the standard "reset and reboot" bs.
