i have one of the very first xbox ones that still had a power brick. mine had been unplugged for awhile and I plugged it back in and it worked for a good 10 min then the xbox shut off and power brick glowed red. i asked around and was told multiple times by many different people to get a new power brick so i did. i just got the new brick. i plugged it in. and it was green and fine then turned red. i figured. there is no way this new one is messed up. maybe it’s my outlet. i put it to a different outlet. it stayed on for awhile this time. then went red again. It’s a brand new power brick. i’m not to sure what’s wrong?

    :)

No. You'll just plug in and continue to play like normal.
Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
