    I am trying to start up the original xbox one and it won't turn on. The button lights up and the power brick does turn white when on but it doesn't actually come on

    No. You'll just plug in and continue to play like normal.
    Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
