Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. At the moment, the Xbox One does not support keyboard and mouse for Fortnite. The great news is that Microsoft is working on adding this feature for several games. The article entitled

Hi! Mouse and keyboard support will be soon available (or is already?) to selected Xbox Insiders starting with the free-to-play title Warframe (keep in mind that only selected titles will support this feature - those
where the developer decide it makes sense). Therefore don't expect every game to support mouse and keyboard input.
