    Xbox one


    Been playing cod ghosts for a few weeks on xbox one now but all of a sudden when I click on cod ghosts it loads for a minute then goes completely black and I can't play the game, Ivan play other games without any trouble and the disc has no marks or scratches.

    Xbox one

    Try resetting your xbox one. to do that you will need to hold down the power button until you hear everything turn itself off(should only take about 8 seconds) then start your xbox one back up and try it again. happened to a buddy of mine on the same game.
    The only explanation for it happening was that the console draws in the internet connection from everything around it(phone, laptop, etc. .) Hope it helps.

    Greetings,

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble playing COD Ghosts on your XBOX One.

    I thing it's a game server issue.

    Try resetting you Xbox One to factory defaults , this will erase all the DLCs , installed games , Profiles , but will not affect your saved games as they are uploaded to the cloud.

    After that , install your games again offline.

    Then connect console to internet to download required game updates.

    That might do the trick.

    @Ace- prior to resetting your xbox to factory defaults (that should be your last case scenario) reboot the system using this method: With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5-8 seconds until it shuts off. Unplug the power
    supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen. If you did not see the green Xbox splash screen, please redo it.

    Then sign in and try CoD. Let us know of this resolves your issue

    Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
