    I was playing on the xbox yesterday and it was working fine but the next day when i start up the console it wont turn on. But when i press the button on the console it sounds like it wants to turn on but wont

    Give this short Xbox Support article a read for troubleshooting no power to the Xbox One X console: Xbox One Won’t Turn On | No Power | Xbox One X, Xbox One S & Original Xbox One

    You will first want to try unplugging your console from power, and leave it unplugged for at least 10 seconds. Then, plug it back in and see if it turns on successfully. If it still does not turn on, verify that the wall outlet is working, ensure you are
    using the power cable that came with the Xbox, and the connections to the Xbox and wall outlet are firm and secured.

    Worst case scenario: you will need to send it in to Microsoft for repair. If you have exhausted all solutions in the article above, then you can begin the repair process here:

    Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?
