I have just moved my xbox one from my living room to my bedroom. Having plugged it back in and set it up with a new tv the console is not powering up. The cables appear to be connected correctly although the power cable is a little loose.

Is this normal and am i missing something something obvious?

    :)

Its always worth getting an extended warranty IMO. Especially for first-gen electronics like the X1.

If it's too loose it probably isn't feed current correctly to the power brick.

No. You'll just plug in and continue to play like normal.
Its technically a different device with a different OS. How can it swap XBOX's without needing to reformat?

when you transmit a game from your xbox to your pc you need to find yourself in the same network so that the data can be transmitted correctly
