    Xbox One YouTube app not working!


    Last night I was watching YouTube on my Xbox one and then the Internet crashed so I had to turn off my Xbox and wait for the Internet to get back up and then when I got back on my Xbox and went to YouTube it wasn't signed into my account. I tried signing
    in but would keep telling me to go to YouTube.com/activate and tell me to enter some code under it and when I did it told me that it was now available on Xbox and to make an account. I ignored it and went back into the app but this time it wouldn't even load.
    It would load and load and load and then a message either saying YouTube is not available or Unable to load channel! I really need help and it's really frustrating me!!

    I have the same issue on Xbox One. New version of the YouTube app isn't working well.

    It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a
    shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

    Sorry to hear that you have this issue. but I'm sure that this is not a way to force you buy a new Xbox One or subscriba a YouTube Premium Account. Maybe is only an obsolete App that no one on Xbox team update from years and YouTube is always working and
    updating itself, maybe this obsolete app can't work with newer youtube site/protocols.

    Sorry @caseofbase, the pairing done between the YouTube app on your Android tablet and the Xbox One is a function implemented by google/youtube itself. You will need to contact their support to see if they have this ability.

    Xbox One SmartGlass is a separate app that can be paired with your Xbox One console for various control, input, social, and 2nd screen companion experiences (and it will remember your pairing :), but unfortunately it does not function that well specifically
    with controlling the YouTube app at this time (YouTube is working on a fix for that).

    I think you can't stream to YouTube because Xbox want to support Mixer 🤔
    Then why is there a Twitch app? If Microsoft were so hell bent to only support Mixer, there wouldn't be a Twitch App. And yet, you can still stream to Twitch.

    It's really up to YouTube to get a working streaming app on the Xbox One.

    So please suggest to YouTube to create a Xbox One streaming app.
