    Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Minecraft


    So I got an Xbox series x around 2 weeks ago now and when I downloaded Minecraft it did not save a part of my house that I finished when I was on Xbox One. Because before I switched to my Series X I finished the interior of my house but when I switched to the Series X, I loaded into Minecraft and my house wasn't finished like it was before I switched. So is there any possible way to fix this? (It is a big house inside a mountain so it did take me a long time to finish the interior).

    Xbox Series X compatability

    Microsoft introduces "Smart Delivery" with the Xbox Series X, which means, that if you own an existing game (like Minecraft in your example, or Gears 5) or a new game comes out for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with improved graphics on Series X, you won't
    have to buy the game twice.

    With Smart Delivery you will play the "enhanced" version on Series X, and the "normal" version on Xbox One.

    I'm thinking of purchasing a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition. Will this version let me play legacy or force me to play bedrock edition?

    I like playing older versions of Minecraft, but more specifically Minecraft: Legacy edition. I want to purchase a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition for my Xbox Series X console. Will I be able to play the legacy version, or be forced to play Bedrock?

    Yes you can play Minecraft on Windows 10 even if your Xbox Series X, Xbox One or Xbox 360 is turned on, and logged in your account.

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    Yes, the Minecraft Xbox One Edition is playable on the Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility.
