    Xbox One "Xbox On, Xbox Off" commands not working


    Not sure if im not saying oit right or what but it hasn't worked since i bought it and yes Power mode is set to Instant-on. Wake up xbox by saying xbox on is ticked help me please did the setup multiple time just to make sure need someone very knowledgeable

    Troy,

    To use the “Xbox on” command, your Xbox One console must be in Instant-On power mode. If your console is in energy-saving mode, the console and sensor are turned off and not listening for voice commands. The “Wake up Xbox by saying ‘Xbox on’” setting must
    be selected in Power & Startup. Let us know if this helps!

    Same issue here, I use Cortana. It stopped working for turning it on. It works fine once I manually turn it on.

    Not sure on Canada but in Australia the "Xbox On" Command is not available at this time. Is your TV set to Standby?

    Not sure what my TV has to do with my Xbox one voice commands and not sure how to put my TV into standby i turn everything on with harmony remote right now but also the Xbox off doesnt work either

    Your TV still has to be in a mode to accept the signal that your Xbox is turning on. I can use the Xbox off command so saying that you may have a dodgy console or kinect.

    I think i may have been saying it wrong ive been saying Xbox off and i tried saying xbox turn off and it worked now to try to get it to turn on or maybe the on feature isnt available here as well

    Sorry it didnt work. Can any of your friends with an X1 get the Command to work? if they cant you may be the same as me.

    "Xbox on" only works 30% of the time

    "xbox off" cannot work for you. The command to turn off the Xbox One is "Xbox, turn off".

    The Xbox on command is not working, once the Xbox is turned off I cannot turn it back on with the voice command. Everything else working fine. Just to test if I say Xbox on while the unit is on Kinect thinks I'm saying "Xbox pause" This is literally the

    xbox on works

    xbox off or xbox turn off does not.

    xbox navigating is spotty. but if i use kinect for commands in Ryse it works flawlessly lol

    My Harmony Touch works fine with the default downloaded Xbox One settings. TBH I only use the Xbox One On & Off commands in conjunction with the TV & AV Receiver ("Play Xbox One" Activity).

    Add me to the list. Screen goes black from AC4 and from Live Tv occasionally after the update. Also, starts black when I have tried the "Xbox On" command. That command never worked before, now that it does periodically it goes to black screen. Also, "Xbox
    turn Off" which worked flawlessly from day one is now not reading the "Yes" prompt after telling it to turn off. So basically they fixed one minor annoying feature sorta (Xbox On) and ruined the stability and other perfectly functioning commands.... ARGH
