The BT home hub 2.0 is commonly bad for connections to Xbox Live, I had the exact same problem and solved it by calling BT and asking for the 3.0 router.

Failing that the BT forums are littered with answers to your question. I would, however, highly recommend switching to home plugs, BT often give these out for free.

When I opened Internet Explorer it just loaded Google

1. Go into MY GAMES & APPS

2. Open IE (Internet Explorer)

3. You will automatically be prompted to the BT set up page

4. Follow instruction for set up

5. Power cycle the console
