xbox one & xbox 360 ?

Hi all i am getting xbox one today once i am up and running will i still be able to go back and play my xbox 360 with same gamer tag.

it is a used xbox one 3 mouths old will i be able to play DLC game that are on it .

if i am on xbox live on xbox one can i talk to mates on xbox live on 360 Alan

One of the inputs is fooked on my amp ,so at the moment I'm having to switch HDMI from ps3 to 360 , bit of a pain .

So I was thinking if the sky box goes the 360 could go there . How are you connecting to 360 to the Xbox one ?

1. Yes you can use your Gamertag on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, on the same subscription, at the same time of you wish.

2. The Games, (I am not sure about DLC, but probably the same) are normally linked to the account that purchased them, so normally unless the person who sold it is going to leave there email and password on there, i doubt it...... But you may get lucky.

3. There is no way to cross chat between the 2 generations.... Sorry

You should also know you CAN be signed onto both your Xbox 1 console AND Xbox 360 simultaneously. My Sony KDL40EX720 Full HDTV has 4 HDMI ports. Xbox 1 uses Skype for video chat on console using Kinect or if you have Skype on your phone or computer. Skype
video chat is FREE for Xbox Live Gold members. It's usage is similar to Video Kinect. Kinect for Xbox 1 is well worth the investment. You can also generally not play multiplayer cross platform as well (eg. Minecraft/BF4 multiplayer between Xbox 360 and Xbox
1). But Xbox 1 games will look better than Xbox 360 games since Xbox 1 has tonnes more RAM and processing power than Xbox 360 (8GB DDR3 RAM vs 512MB GDDR3 RAM). I strongly suggest keeping your Xbox 360, Microsoft is still going to support it for a while. 80%
of my friends are still on Xbox 360. And all my friends who own an Xbox 1 including myself still play on Xbox 360 heaps = the best of both worlds, having Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. I will not sell nor trash nor trade my Xbox 360 slim console for anything.

DLCs are tied to account as well... if you have discs for the other games, you are good to go but the DLCs will not be active until you purchase them...

If they are active, it is because the person you bought the console from still has his gamertag set as the home console owner (search google to better understand what that means) and you will be able to use those DLCs until he sets another console as his
home
