    Xbox one/Xbox 360 no sound


    Hello everyone !

    I got some problem with both of my xbox. Both of them have no sound. I've changed my hdmi cable on both of them and nothing have changed. I've played with parameter but nothing changed at all. I have the sound only with my earphone plugged on. I really don't
    know what to do

    My xbox 360 was working perfectly last night, but when I turned it on this morning, I got no sound whatsoever. I tried reconnecting all the wires and checking the system's audio settings, and nothing works. I checked the support pages and got nowhere from
    there. Also, my TV will play cable and radio through the speakers, but no game sounds or anything from the xbox will go through. Any suggestions?

    Hi, if it's an issue with both consoles, then it could be a problem with the TV you are using, try connecting the consoles to another Tv, see if that fixes the issue.

    Should a Headset be in w/ every Xbox One ?

    Not necessary as it will come with a Kinect sensor. However you're voice will probably sound loud or tinny (aka Xbox Reveal that man in the skype call sounded clearly tinny). Xbox One will have a mic as one of the extra accessories you can get. You did get
    one for the Xbox 360, only because Kinect is not mandatory for the 360.

    Hi! From the sound of it you're trying to download Xbox One games to your Xbox 360, this isn't possible. You can play backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles on a Xbox One, but it doesn't work the other way around. You can only play Xbox 360 titles on the
    Xbox 360. Hope this helps.

    What setup do you use to get sound from the Xbox 360?

    Which model of the Xbox 360 do you have? The original (fat) Xbox 360? The "Slim" model, or the E model that looks like the original Xbox One?

    Is the console connected via HDMI? Are you using an external AV receiver or soundbar for sound? Or are you using an AV cable and analogue or optical cables for sound?

    In the console settings, what sound format have you set? Stereo, Dolby Digital or Windows Media?
