Xbox One / Xbox 360 Console Games Communication

Hello,

I recently purchased an Xbox 360, and I already own an Xbox One. On my Xbox One, I have a few games designed for the Xbox 360, which I am able to play on my Xbox One due to the backwards compatibility feature. I do not own the games physically, as I purchased
them in the online store, but they are installed on the console. If I was to log into the console with the same account, would the games transfer automatically over to the Xbox 360? I understand that I would not be able to play online Xbox One games on an
earlier console, but I was hoping the older games, such as Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, would just transfer automatically over to my new Xbox 360. I appreciate any responses.

has as yes, with the xbox 360 connected on the internet just go into settings>account>download history and download them 1 by 1 they go to the download queue just wait! i'm with problem i want to find my 360 on the site more only pops up from xbox one
and pc i have xbox one! I hope I helped!

You're welcome! I'll add that there is an exception to what I said. If you're on Xbox One when you claim an Xbox 360 Games With Gold title, it will indeed be added to your download queue on Xbox 360 automatically. So, in fairness, there is a chance that,
if you bought the games on Xbox One (or via the web) and you've not signed onto your Xbox 360 since you bought them, they may well be in your queue when you start it up. So there is that!

If you digitally own back-compatible Xbox 360 content on Xbox One, yes you can install it on Xbox 360. It won't transfer automatically, though. You would log onto Xbox 360 using the same Microsoft account you use on Xbox One, then go to the Marketplace
on your console and locate the game(s) you own. On that page, there should be an option to Download It Again, allowing you to install it on Xbox 360.

If you want your game save to come over, it should be available via Cloud Saved Games on Xbox 360. Please note that the cloud-save feature on Xbox 360 requires an Xbox Live Gold (or Game Pass Ultimate) subscription to access.

Welcome to the Xbox Community, great to have you!

You are able to buy older Xbox 360 games on disc and you'll be able to play them on Xbox One if they become compatible.

You can also buy compatible Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One store via your console.
