Xbox one x

Hi . My xbox one x worked perfect until the compulsory update on the 28/5/2020. I bought the console in Jan 2019. I decided to buy what microsoft claim to be the most advanced console to date. Fast forward 15 months and it is a lump of plastic sitting
in my front room. No disc been put into console as games all downloaded from xbox store. Also console doesnt move from position in front room so def never been dropped, bumped, juice spillage victim or damaged, tampered in any way. The update has “fried the
harddrive” according to a member of microsoft team. I played the night before, it worked perfect. Got up in morning, switched it on and it came up with the message “you cannot use this console until you do the update”. I tried to do the update but once it
reached 21% it stopped and came up with message “There was a problem with the update”. I was still able to access my home screen and settings at this point but after contacting the xbox help team for support who advised me to reset factory settings Which i
done i dont get this option. Only option is to upate when i said this to the help team who were still on the phone i was laughed at, clapped at and told “ update fried your hardrive, it will cost you hundreds to fix” as he was killing himself laughing .
£232 microsoft just told me it will cost to fix. Now I cant use it at all. i have been hung up on 3 times, racially insulted, abused and laughed at by microsofts help team since. Also told i cant complain about treatment as it is internal? Fuming. How can
i resolve this issue? Can anyone advise? Id advise anyone not to spend the extra cash on this model as according to microsoft u are only able to guarentee it for one year, not been allowed to extend warranty for three years as i have with my 360 as the apparently
dont extend warrantys over one year as i have already done with prevous console. Spent +£450 on buying best console available on the 9/1/19. If it was an old console id understand but its the newest, most advanced, up do date model out i dont get it. If i
pay for this repair it will have cost in exess of nearly £700 for a console only 15 months old. Crazy. Now im being told it isnt an update issue it is a hardware issue yet the console is still telling me every time its switched on its a problem with the update.
Cant believe the treatment im recieving from a multimillion pound company in this day and age. Unreal they can get away with it. Manager just hung up on me when i pointed out her dates were out on their 90 day grace period Has anyone else had issues? Desperate

cash for nothing. Could have bought all three of them a console each for this amount of cash would have been better of as at least two of them wouldve still worked Really considering jumping the divide to playstation although just saying this feels
wrong as i have been an xbox loyal since the days of Mastercheif . Hoping for some positive advise as not sure how to fix issue to get back gaming. Praying i can do something to fix it as def cant afford an extra £232 to fix it through microsoft. ����
