    Hello all I am having a problem with my xbox one x I recently had a bad storm roll through which caused the power the surge. It messed up my connectivity to the TV where it would say no signal. I rebooted it into lower resolution 480 and it displays fine.
    I try to upscale the resolution in the xbox itself 720p make the screen flicker and have no sound off and on if I switch to 1080p it doesn't even show. Was wondering if this would be my retimer ic or my hdmi port.

    There is no xbox one x edition it's just xbox one version

    There is no x or one requirement for Xbox one games. Xbox one x has more power that's it

    Series consoles have more powrr in spades from xbox one

    And there is no xbox one series x

    It actually would. There's an Xbox One, One S, and One X that are all in the same family. Then there is the Series S and Series X that are in a completely different family of consoles.

    An Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X. The game will not work on an One X.

    Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

    Series x is just xbox series s or x

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.
