I was just wondering if my Xbox X is going to burn down my house because it is in the open and it gets so hot that it makes the wood table underneath it hot to the touch. The two sides are cool but that back strip is unbearable.

    :)

Train Sim World, Train Simulator 17?

I wonder why the HUD lowers the framerate by so much?

All Xbox One consoles are designed to automatically shut off if the internal components get to a certain temperature.

Make sure that there is plenty of "breathing room" around the console to allow it to

    properly ventilate cool air
    .

Is your console sitting vertically? If so, is it on the vertical stand? If not, then you may be letting it sit on the ventilation holes where it exhausts hot air, which could be the reason why the underside of your table is getting hot. The console must
be standing with its rubber legs (on the bottom surface) if positioned horizontally, or with the official stand if positioned vertically.

Putting a probe right on the heatsink fins, it reads 71c while playing Halo 5. That's pretty darn hot. MS needs to up the fan speed a little. I never let my PC components break 60c.

Obviously lower is better but this seems to be the temperature the console has been designed to run at because if you read many of the console review web sites they report similar figures so I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. Additionally I would
have thought that this proves the consoles cooling system is working effectively plus the console has been designed to shut itself off in the event it should start to overheat.

Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has reported the temperature at the rear of the unit to hit around 68c, which is totally normal and within the tolerance that the the Xbox One One X was designed for.

I agree with 'Internet Expert' - the machine must be sitting horizontally if you do not have the official Xbox One X vertical stand. Standing the machine vertically without the stand will cover the ventilation holes.

  10. Current PC graphics cards are designed for high temperatures. My PC's graphics card can reach 75c - and this temperature, while a little high, is well within its design tolerance. Xbox One X is no different.

You are correct but the GPU temp is from a internal probe. This is on the fin of the heatsink. I'd bet the APU is at least 80c-90c. It's also crashing to the dashboard and getting artifacts after a few hours of gaming. So if it's not being affected by
heat, MS better figure something out fast, coz this ain't cool.

Will Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Xbox one edition work on my Xbox?

There is no xbox one x edition it's just xbox one version

There is no x or one requirement for Xbox one games. Xbox one x has more power that's it

Series consoles have more powrr in spades from xbox one

And there is no xbox one series x

Just xbox series s or x

    Can't play goat simulator 3???

It actually would. There's an Xbox One, One S, and One X that are all in the same family. Then there is the Series S and Series X that are in a completely different family of consoles.

An Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X. The game will not work on an One X.

GTA V xbox one X|S version

Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

Series x is just xbox series s or x

    Not xbox one s

NBA 2K24 disc for my console will not even install error code 0x87e10013

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.
