Xbox One X, Youtube + Netflix image issues Please Help!

We got a new Xbox One X Battlefield edition and a new TV at the same time, around Thanksgiving (late Nov.). Since then, we have noticed that while watching videos on YouTube with the Xbox we randomly get pixelated screens like the image on top. It will happen
sometimes for just a second, up to a few seconds. When we rewind and play back it may or may not reappear. While watching Netflix we get snowy screens like the images below. We've tried changing the HDMI input as well as changing the HDMI cable and it doesn't
solve the problem. Before upgrading all we had was the original Xbox one and a very old 39" HDTV that we bought in like, 2011. Needless to say they do not have the same issues. Vizio has built in netflix and youtube. When streaming within the built in apps
I do not have those issues. Which means its either an Xbox One X issue or a Netflix/Youtube app issue. I play games like Fortnite, Overwatch, Gears of War and Halo and never have any issues. Same when watching videos off of VUDU and HULU I experience no issues.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Or have you experienced this issue at all? Perhaps, you can lead me on a path to narrowing it down?

Hey there, still suffering with YouTube?

Many many people have been mentioning this, I had this for a while and for almost 2 weeks now I have not had the brief pixelation/codec noise happen once and it used to happen a lot. Is your console plugged into a surge protector? If so unplug the console
from it and plug it directly into the wall outlet. The console has built in surge protection which doesn't mix well being plugged into another!

That is what my problem was even solved a controller disconnect issue I had. I will say that I know this hasn't solved the issue for other people but it did for me so it might be worth trying. Otherwise it has to be a wait and hope YouTube fixes it on
an update as I cannot seeing it being console related really, unless it is something to do with codecs...

Netflix on the other hand I'm not sure, could be the HDR profile settings on your TV? Might be worth heading over to rtings.com looking up your TV model and checking what they recommend for your HDR settings they are pretty good their recommendations for
my TV really did improve the quality of my picture. But then I would probably expect the TV Netflix app to suffer the same issue if so but might be worth checking out none the less.

Netflix just started giving me the same issue now. Ive tried all 5 HDMI ports on my tv using 5 different hdmi cables. Same issue occurs on all of the. (NO Issues with any other console, This has to be a XBOX issue.

and for the youtube part that's a first it looks split down the middle? i'm sorry i cant help with that part

My console has been plugged into a surge protector for over a year and a half now, youtube never did this until I got a 4K TV, if the surge was the problem this would have been happening way before that, no clue how that actually fixed your problem but
glad it did I guess? Last night it did it on youtube probably 20+ times over multiple videos, and every video was that vp9 codec, Netflix didnt do it to me when I switched over, my TCL really doesnt have crazy settings for HDR or Dolby Vision its mostly working
or not, still has to he an app issue, everything else is still working fine
