Xbox One X YouTube App not hitting 4k

For some reason the YouTube app on the Xbox One X refuses to push to 4k. I'm currently sitting here watching Digital Foundry's most recent analysis on Assassin's Creed Origin which is a 4k capable video. Now on the app for my TV, streaming is fine. Looking
at the stats, I have plenty of available bandwidth at 53+Mbps and a 21s buffer health about half way through the video. Other apps like Netflix hit the 2160 mark just fine and games seem to run quite well. The only note I could think of is that my TV is not
HDR. Any ideas on why YouTube on the Xbox One X is the odd man out here?

Still no 60fps on ONE??? Please update it.

When will the Xbox ONE version of the YouTube app support 60fps?

The YouTube app on Xbox ONE hasn't been updated in ages, and I can't believe after all this time, STILL no support for 60fps.

Also, I haven't tried 4K on YT yet, but I'm sure that's not supported yet either on Xbox ONE X (or maybe ONE S either).

Youtube 4K update - NO HDR support

So Google releases 4K streaming support on the Xbox One S/X finally but 4K vids are all (including HDR vids) using the .vp9 codec. HDR is vp9.2

I verified this on my Samsung KS8000's built-in youtube app. SMH Google is playing games.

Additional Details: my TV is a Vizio E50-D2. It is 4k capable but the HDMI port is only 1.4 and not the recommended 2.2.

If say you connect an Xbox One X to your 4K HDTV, you should still be able to:

1. Download the YouTube and Netflix apps, onto your Xbox One X, and still be able to watch in 4k 60fps?

2. Use Xbox One X 4k Blu-ray player to watch 4k Blu-ray disc movies in 4k 60fps?

3. Play games on Xbox One X, in 4k 60fps?

Wrong... He's specifically asking if it will pass 4k from another device hooked up to the "IN" HDMI port.

HDMI 2.0 output, HDMI 1.4 input. It will not ever pass 4k.

Unfortunately after checking multiple sources it seems that the YouTube app on the One S does not currently support 4K. The One X app received an update on Dec 11, 2017 which allows 4k content (HDR not included) but the app for One S is still in development.
Sorry for the confusion. Even I had to do a little research.

You may have to uninstall the app, Clear local saved games and the MAC address and then install the app again. Is it all 4K videos or just specific ones?

I dont think uninstall the app will solve the problem . I already thinked about a possivle bug on youtube app on xbox one x so i had a ideia of downloading 1 youtube video on my computer , copy to my external HDD NTFS and run it via media player app . First
time i run it didnt freeze a single time during the whole video then i run other 1 (a old 4k video that allways worked fine) after that i run the downloaded video again but this time it freeze like it does on youtube app . This prove the Xbox one X is having
a hard time rendering the video and is nothing wrong with the youtube app it does the same on media player via USB .
