Xbox one X wont turn on.

I have called the support line, and it just says to go to the help page on the website. I go there and it will not let me find help. Frustration ensues.

My issue is that my Xbox will not connect to the tv at all. it reads that there is something there but just has no signal. My Xbox is out of Warranty and I dont know what to do. It was working fine yesterday, now it just will not show up. I have hard reset
it, left it unplugged for an hour, I have tried different HDMI cables, and my PS4 and Switch all work fine on all my cables,inputs and everything. its just my Xbox that wont show up.

What should I do?

Most likely yes but the xbox one wont be future proof aka wont be able to play certain games in the future the xbox one x will be it will eventually turn into an older console but still will be able to play the game the series x can

The xbox one is the one that completely turns off. The xbox one x wont make it past the screen that allows you to do an offline update. So it's broke.

Sorry to hear that. I asked about the controller because I found that with the X at least, if I don't have a controller powered on while the console is powering up, it will act just like it's not connected to the TV; wait a bit then shut down. So I just
turn it on with a controller.

Unfortunately i have taken it in to a microsoft store and had them look at it. He smelled burnt plastic when he turned it on (something i missed because of my house scents i guess) and it is straight up dead. It will need a replacement. But to answer your
questions:

- no sound coming from tv at all.

- using power icon on console.

- yes it stays on despite having no signal.

Im not sure how to close the post now that it has been resolved, but I appreciate everyone trying to help me in this. I will have to send it away to be replaced.
