    Xbox One X won't read one game at all, help?


    My Xbox One X will not read any copy of Lego City Undercover and i'm out of ideas on what to try.

    I've used 3 different copies which all work on other consoles fine, i've tried installing other games which have all worked fine with no issue. I've tried moving/standing the console, i've hard reset, i've tried to insert the disc and install from the shop
    but its as if the discs don't exist..

    Any ideas? Why this one game?

    Xbox One won't read game discs at all

    The problem is, some of the games I'm trying to play are new, and they spin and click about 7 times and then nothing. Just spinning. I'm going to try the dust can and see if that helps. I'd hate to have to send TWO machines for repairs!

    I started having this problem awhile ago, and found out blowing air into the disc tray helps... at least it did for 2 months, and now it's back to the problem again. I just got cod ww2 so not happy that it decided to show up again at this point in time.

    If you have them on the floor or in a TV Stand, anywhere where dust is bountiful and have pets running around, blow some air into each vent and use a knife or something similar to hold the disc tray open slightly, and blow air into it... may be that the
    reader needs a good cleaning.

    Tried everything shy of returning the game, for some reason it seems to be working on my nephew's Xbox One X, but won't read on my One S or my brother in laws One S.

    Xbox one x backwards compatible won't play

    That does not help. I've even done a complete factory reset. It will read Xbox one games, but will NOT READ Xbox backwards compatible games THAT ARE listed as official Microsoft backwards compatible games. The games work fine on 360, all 25 of them but NONE work on the Xbox one x console, just the Xbox one games only.

    There won't be a problem. All Xbox One games work on all consoles, and all Xbox One players can play with each other whether they have the original Xbox One, One S or One X.
