    Xbox One X won't play video captures, gives only green screen


    Hi,

    When playing video captures from games or streamed video from twitch or upload studio the video is a full green screen. Tried a full reset of xbox and this didn't resolve it. The xbox is outputting to a 4k hdr display. Anyone resolved this issue?

    video error, twitch and captured video only play a green screen

    Hi I've posted this before, see below the fix worked but then upon restarting the xbox it has returned now the fix doesn't work. The fix was to hold power for 8 seconds to shut down and to remove power cord for 5 minutes.

    Anyone resolved this?

    Xbox One X won't play video captures, gives only green screen

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.

    You know the little short video that plays on an xbox one x before the xbox green screen logo? Thats when its static/snowy. Then it shows the normal xbox logo. When trying to use any video streaming app is when all i see is green screen with audio.

    I tried what you suggested, it went to 680x680 like you said but it only dispayed the static/snowy screen in lower quality and still experienced the green screen with audio only on netflix and hulu.

    No sorry, it's not possible. Only the Xbox One and Series X|S can capture pictures and videos directly via the console.
