Xbox One X won't play any games

I got my Project Scorpio Edition on launch day and since then haven't been able to play any games. For example FIFA 18 has lines coming out of all the guys and will run for about 5 or 10 minutes and then turn the whole console off. Shadow of War will run
normally for about the same amount of time and then will quit to the home screen. TV apps are fine, but TV service will not work on 4K if it's connected through the Xbox but if connected to the TV, it works fine. I have gone through all the settings with
support and they even had me reset the entire console. I'm thinking bad hardware and maybe I just wanted to winge while I sit in line waiting to chat with support, but has anyone else had this experience?

Xbox one x enhancement games

You can play the games but the Xbox One S won't benefit from any of the Xbox One X enhancements such as higher detailed textures and quicker loading times etc.

Netflix doesn't play any video on Xbox One X. Error code: tvq-pm-100 5.6.0

Netflix won't play any video on my Xbox One X.

Getting the following message:

Unable to play video right now. Try again later or select another video

error code: tvq-pm-100 (5.6.0)

Already did the following:

- Cleared MAC Address (and rebooted Xbox One X)

- Hold down power button until shutdown. Unplug power cable. Waited 5 seconds. Restarted Xbox One X.

- Re-installed the Netflix app

Any solutions?

Sorry about your problem with your Xbox One X.

Things you need to try:

Make sure the console has plenty of space and is well ventilated

The console must be connected either directly into the mains supply at the wall socket or to a known working power strip that does not contain a surge protector. Surge protectors can cause havoc with the Xbox One (all models) as the power supplies are already
surge protected.

If you are still having issues, you should return your console. It may be quicker to contact the store, or online retailer you purchased it rather than Microsoft, as they may be able to replace this console for you sooner.

Thanks man! Yeah Xbox support wanted me to mail it in and they'd mail it back in 30 days. No way, I just RMA'd it to Microsoft Store and picked up a new one from Best Buy which works fine except for one thing. When I hook my cable box up to the XBOX,
the cable box fails it's 4k tests. When I hook it straight to the TV, it passes the 4k tests. Is there any setting or to make that work or is the pass through not 4k capable?

Thanks, yeah Microsoft said to ship it in and in 21-30 days I'd get it back. I just setup and RMA to MS Store online and picked a new (non-Scorpio) edition from Best Buy and it works. Well except for one thing, when I hook my cable box up to the xbox it
fails the 4k tests and will only display in 1080p. However when I hook it up to the TV with the same cable, it will do 4k @60Hz. What's up with that?
