    Xbox One X wont load some discs but will others.


    Hi, I am having an issue with my Xbox One X. It will only load certain discs, but not others. I've tried new games, old games, Blu-Rays and it is just random as to which ones it will load and which ones it won't.

    I've tried resetting it numerous times, I've followed lots of guides on the websites and forums and have not managed to solve it. The console is barely 2 years old.

    Can anyone help please?

    I bought Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 and 2 on Disc and my Xbox Series X wont recognise its in the drive other than a few buzzing sounds that sound like the drive is attempting to read it but then NOTHING ???? There's nothing wrong with the drive as it plays all my other games just fine.. I've also hard reset the console AND STILL THE GAME WONT LOAD or PLAY etc..???

    Its like I've paid for nothing in a box !!! Why wont this game load ?? Why does my Series X not realise the disc has been inserted ??

    Feeling very annoyed. I bought this to play with friends this Christmas Time ...its so frustrating

    PLEASE HELP !!!
    Also the disc is in mint condition with no scratches etc ...???

    Hey Venom,

    Sorry to hear the game won't load on your Xbox One X. Are you receiving a specific error message and error code when you launch the game? Is the game disc or digital? Are other games loading fine on your Xbox One X?

    Keep us posted with that information so we can further assist.

    i am so confussed why bring it out on digital but not disk maybe they think it wont sell well on disc i watched some live stream of it and it looks like other super hero games a load of rubbish i wont b getting it

    won't read discs

    same problem here. 360S console. worked fine up until I did the update this morning. some discs work, some don't. makes funny noises when reading discs that wont load.

    That is correct! The next generation of Xbox One S wont feature a disc drive. While other Xbox One S with disc drives will be available.
