    Hi there I'm having alot of trouble with my xbox one x at the minute when I try to turn it on the light comes on and it makes the beep but after a few seconds it turns itself off I've done everything I can tried all the methods available to me I've held the power button down for 10 seconds I've tried to get to troubleshoot menu which i couldn't I've used different wires different plugs i even replaced the power supply unit inside with the same results so any help will be much appreciated as I can't really buy a new one for awhile..

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    If your Xbox one X console won't turn on, your power supply may be faulty or improperly connected! It may simply need a power reset. Often, power issues are due to the power supply resetting after a power surge.

    To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the power cord from the console.
    2. Wait 10 seconds.
    3. Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button on the front of the console.
    If the issue persists, here are some points to check:

    • Check that the wall outlet you’re using is working with other devices.
    • Check that the power cable is firmly connected to the wall outlet and to your console.
    • Ensure that you're using the power cable that came with your console, and that it's the correct cable for your region.
    If your console still will not turn on, it needs to be serviced. To request service, sign in to Microsoft account | Devices with your Microsoft account and submit a service order.

    I'm struggling to find a similar issue on the forum boards.

    My xbox one x won't boot up. I press the power button on the console and it lights up for one second, makes the start up chime, then goes dark and doesn't boot.

    Anyone else have this issue and a resolution?

    My box is out of warranty, as it's 17months young.
    If you Can't fix it then tell to the xbox support live chat, they night help you.
