Xbox One X with random shutdown's keeps getting send back unrepaired

The random shutdowns are the system going into protect mode. Many games like Call of Duty appear to have catastrophic crash bugs thst cause the system to shut down to prevent data corruption.

Due to the pandemic, development of both hardware and software is way behind, please have patience. I recommend hard resetting your Xbox every few days, and force quitting the game when you’re done playing. These will help mitigate these issues. It is getting better. Watch Dogs seems to have fixed their raytracing bug that was doing it last week.

You should see if others are having the same problem on your games in question. Helps narrow down if it’s your console or the software

The problem is not with specific games it can be any game. For example yesterday it happened while playing Far Cy 5, and the day before that while I was not playing any game and the Xbox was only downloading games from the store. I have tried many things like factory resetting the Xbox. Using only a wall power outlet instead of a power strip etc. We also have an Xbox One S that console never suddenly shuts down.

I'd send it back. Random shutdowns shouldn't be happening.
