Xbox One X wireless stopped working

Has anyone had this issue before where your xbox says it has a wireless hardware problem. I was playing my game and then I got randomly disconnected and my xbox won't read any wireless connections. I tried literally everything from holding on to the
power button and unplugging the power cord. I've reset my router and etc. I even cleared the DNS. And now i factory reset my xbox with the option to keep my games downloaded and it wont boot up when it gets to the update part because it wont connect to
the internet to receive the update.

Hi there,

I would suggest updating your console offline then my friend, here's a LINK on how to do that. I cut out the hassle and bought a 30ft long
ethernet cable, to bypass such issues, only cost around £10 too.

I have the same problem. The xbox one x finds the SSD and I can see in the games & apps menu that a big part of the SSD is full of data, but the games doesn't show.

In addition to this, the wireless network connection stops working when I hook the SSD up with one or the other of the USB ports in the back of the xbox one x.

It works just fine on my old xbox one.

They are wireless and all work, in fact I was using my newest one earlier the same day. While I was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes it randomly started working again. The only thing I did during that time was dust my Xbox series x. So I don’t know if it just needed to be cleaned or why it stopped working but it randomly started working again.

Yes it works with wire but router is is downstairs & x box is on second floor of house not prepared to run a cable all that way. Cant understand how the wireless connection has just stopped working?
