Xbox one X wireless display adapter issues

So I have been trying to get this app working properly on my Xbox one X and I am having various issues.

First I am getting choppy video and audio; my pc is connected to my Xbox via gigabit ethernet, my PC also has a wireless network adapter to initiate the connection because for some reason this is a requirement. There should be more than enough bandwidth to stream 1080 to my Xbox.

Secondly I am having issues with my controller; My controller will only work in a few games. I press start and select together to switch to controller mode and I get no response to my inputs after that. Some games it works with no issues but of course not the ones I want to play.

There are very few configuration options that I can find so I an pretty limited in what I can do. Hopefully someone can give me some suggestions on what to try.

    Thanks in advance

Is Xbox Series X Controller compatible with Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 ?

Hello there guys, just wanna ask if the Xbox Series X Controller is compatible with the Xbox One Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 ?

Also, is there gonna be a newer version of the wireless adapter for Windows 10 destined for the Series X controller ?

    Thanks.

    XBox wireless problems

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter. A flashing green light indicates that the adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network. When you try to connect to your wireless network, does the console prompt you to connect
an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or does it recognize the adapter but display no wireless networks in the list?

    Xbox controllers for windows 10

You confused me when you said WI-FI. As WI-FI is usually in reference to a wireless connection to your modem suppling an internet connection to a given device. Not a short way of saying wireless. But yes, there are 3 options, Wired, Bluetooth, and wireless.

Any wireless Xbox One controller will pair with the

Unable to project PC to Xbox series x using wireless display

    Hello George C.

I have tested the above and had no luck. The closet I get is I connect both PC and Xbox Series X to the same WIFI (with both network cables unplugged) and I can see the XBOX as a wireless display to cast my PC. however, it attempts to connect, and the screen blinks and immediately says disconnected.

I have now been able to connect to the XBOX with my laptop, but still not able to connect through my PC.

My PC is showing as a wireless display capable device in the Drivers command "Wireless Display Supported: Yes (Graphics Driver: Yes, Wi-Fi Driver: Yes)"

I have further uninstalled Norton antivirus from my PC and reverted to windows antivirus.

surely I cannot be the only one with this issue?

I see that this post has the same issue, but the thread is now locked

[PC] Xbox Wireless Headset + Dolby Atmos = Audio Stuttering

I'm experiencing the same issues. The problem isn't the wireless adapter. It's the implementation of spacial sounds and atmos in general.

I know it's not wireless because i still have the same exact issues when using the headset hard-wired (using a 20' USB-A to USB-C adapter. I have no wireless adapter connected so it's not an issue of me thinking it's wired when it's actually wireless).

Disabling spacial sounds in the settings makes the sound better, but not good. This headset works flawlessly on my Xbox One X, so I know the hardware itself works.

I believe it's a driver issue and compatability issue with surround sound in general that cause problems.
