Xbox one X will only connect to the internet with wired network. Wireless not working.

So I was using a ethernet cable. But I decided to plug it into my pc to speed up downloads.

I have had this WiFi network on my Xbox One X ever since I got it 2 weeks ago. (Brand new)

And there's been no issues.

I was downloading ESO and I just took the cable out.

Plugged in pc. It said connect to Xbox live.

My network was there but now became unsaved. So I rentered the unchanged network password. And had this screen.

I've turned my router on an off. I've hard reset my Xbox.

I plugged the cable back in and everything went back online. Then took it out. Tried again. And this screen again.

Now my pc is working with the WiFi or cable.

My phone right now is working on the WiFi connection.

I am using a VPN on my pc could that have anything to do with it?

I don't see why it would stop just my Xbox yet everyone else's in the house is fine. Any help is so appreciated I also posted this in reddit but so success so ill add a few more details. I reset my xbox but kept apps and games .same issue .

I truet to hotspit my phone to my xbox and that also never worked .so something is wrong with my xbox wifi. It was working 5 hours ago .nothing has been changed . Im out of options and begging for help .

Can't connect to Xbox Live and I've tried everything...

Can connect to internet, but not Xbox live, with Wireless Network or Wired Network. Im in Florida also (Palm Coast)

Can't find wireless network

Strange thing seems to have happened to my Xbox. Had it since launch but seemingly now it can't find my (or any other wireless) networks. When I go to 'Set up wireless network' it can't find any.

It's worked fine since launch and worked fine yesterday. My phone is connect to the wifi so it's not the Virgin internet connection. Any ideas?

Going to try a wired connection to see if that works.

I am a little confused here, do you have your Xbox conected trough cable to your PC and your PC conected to your router via Wifi? or you just conected your Xbox to your Router with the Ethernet Cable? i am confused here because in other case the VPN has
nothing to do with it, but if your Xbox pass trough your computer, then VPN could be a problem.

Sorry to hear about the internet troubles! Are you connected wired or wireless to your network? If you're wireless, please give a wired connection a try to see if there's any change.

So this sounds as the your Smartglass device is not connected to the same network.

It has to be connected to the same network (lan) as the one. Having your Smartglass device connected to the Internet (wan) via your mobile provider is not working. It's only working if connected via WiFi to the same local network (lan) the one is connected
to,, no matter of the one is connected wired or wireless.

My network equipments are:

A Westell (not sure if spelled right) DSL Modem and a Netgear Wireless N 300 router.

Other devices connected to my router are:

2 Desktops(wired), 2 laptops (wireless), 1 netbook(wireless), Playstation 3 (Wireless), Wii (wireless), 2 Ipod Touch's (wireless), and my xbox 360 (wires).

I know it may seem like a lot of devices on one home network, But usually there is very few of them connected to the internet at one time and i prioritized connection for my 360 on the router.

Only my 360 disconnects and causes network/internet disruption.

OK I have connected it as follows (a little complicated but its the easiest my setup allows)

Internet----Router A ->))) (((<-Router B ---Xbox

Theres a wireless bridge between the routers.

One router connected to the internet the other is connected to the xbox (by wire)

This setup is working fine. As far as the xbox is concerned its connnected by wire so obviously there is a problem with the xbox wireless network card

Xbox one X will only connect to the internet with wired network. Wireless not working.
