Xbox one X will not pickup any of my mics

Ive tried 3 different headset and different controllers but my xbox on x will not pick up the mic. The main headset i use is a Recon 200 turtle beach for xbox. I can hear myself when i speak into the mic (with the mic volume up )but when i do a voice chat
or send a message with a recording it will not pick up. My content settings are on adult and my mic shows on when i go to audio settings. Ive also cycled the power several times.

Note my headset is assigned to my profile and my controller's are all up to date. It also shows in chat that I have a mic and it's not muted. Also ive played around with the mic positions becasue it mutes when you set the mic in an upright position, but
still nothing works.

I have not really found any mic settings other than the volume controls through the xbox dashboard and the format.( Which is set to the windows sonic as recommend by turtle Beach

I'm not actually sure on this. Try checking the settings for the mic. Maybe that has to do with your problem?

What im trying to say is my mic picks up too much sound its too sensitive the actual speaker for the headset is completely fine and good quality i just want something to make the mic pickup less sound

Both the Series X and Xbox One have never supported "just any USB mic". They do not work.

No the headset picks up too much so if someone speaks on headset the mic will pick it up.

it picks up so much that it can pickup the air brushing across the mic when i turn
