xbox one x will not load anything other than the home screen

was playing apex predators yesterday and went to play destiny.

Destiny wouldn't connect to the servers. So I went through the usual. Reboot. Hard Reboot. Uninstall/Reinstall. Still wouldn't open but apex predators and amazon prime worked fine.

Started up the xbox today and literally NOTHING will open, NOT EVEN SETTINGS.

All I can do is move around the home screen.

Anyone have any thoughts?

The icons blink like you've hit the A button, and even ENTER on my keyboard no longer works. It blinks like it's got the input but nothing happens.

Spamming the A button or Enter key finally gets it to accept something

ok, found that is I spam the A button repeatedly something will open.

Finally got a factory reset to work but having the SAME ISSUE trying to even get the xbox set back up

HOLY [mod removed] AM I A DUMB[mod removed]!

I figured it out. My kids had plugged in a wired controller and it was under the desk where I couldn't see it, upside down sending input to the xbox.

So I did a factory reset and resinstalled everything for nothing. :-(THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP MICROSOFT!

The game loads up then it just freezes on the load in screen then doesn't do anything other than that
