Xbox one X WiFi lag spikes still after update

Hello,

I've had three Xbox one X since launch, one had an CD drive issue, the next one would randomly disconnect from the internet, wired or wireless.

My latest one does not suffer from these issues but like many others with a quick Google search I suffer from random lag spikes while gaming online on a wireless connection. (No other option but wireless right now) this was also the case with BOTH previous
Xbox one x that I had returned, I was just able to plug them in hard wired.

I installed the latest patch that stated it was to improve WiFi stability on the Xbox one x but I've noticed no difference, it might even occur more often now.

Is this a network card issue with the Xbox one x that needs addressed? I don't think I should have to buy the power line 1000 network adapter to enjoy online gaming...... My original Xbox one didn't have this issue at all.

I've factory reset and I'm still currently having this issue, so I'm assuming it's driver or hardware at this point.

I've also opened the ports and DMZ'd my Xbox one x ip through my router.

Lag Spikes Xbox One X WIFI

so I tried the 2.4ghz network instead of the 5ghz one, I was able to play 2 rocket league matches without lag or the network error symbol appearing. I will test further but there is def something wrong with the wireless with 5ghz

Lag Spikes Xbox One X WIFI

There seems to be a large number of people on other forums experiencing huge lag spikes every 5-10 min consistanly on WIFI including me on other forums (no one moves for 4 seconds then you warp across the map or you get network problem messages in-game for
4 seconds). Hardwiring completely fixes it. We also have a launch xbox one and a xbox one S in the house that does not experience this network issue. I have exchanged my xbox x for a new one and it still has the same issue. I have also upgraded my cable
modem, and wireless router with no resolution. The current software update and beta update from insider hub have the same issue. Can Microsoft please look into this as I much rather use the wifi then have a cable running across the room. I have full strength
5ghz or 2.4ghz signal.. I'm 100% confident that it is NOT my wireless network. My ps4/ other xbox's are fine

Same exact issue with my new one x I just bought. Everyone is aware of the issue... But Microsoft seems content to ignore it and hope it goes away

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

I've noticed on my end that sometimes drivers are the issue. When I first tried streaming, I'd have no imput lag at all except for once every few minutes the stream will become garbled and lag really bad for about 5 seconds, then go back to normal. I originally
solved it by reinstalling my wifi drivers. Now, after an update, I'm starting to get a similar sort of lag every few minutes, although not as bad. Not really garbled, just jerky for about 5 seconds at a time. I've tried reverting wifi drivers, but it still
does it, so could be due to something else. Still basically playable, but sometimes the lag spike happens at the worst times! Otherwise, I have NO input lag at all. My xbox is wired and I'm using my laptop connected using wireless AC at 866 mpbs.

Funny thing though, my gaming laptop has two video cards, an Intel one and an Nvidia 860m. When I use my Nvidia one, it runs poorly, with noticeable input lag and the image seems weird; hard to explain. But everything runs perfect while using the Intel
one. So perhaps is less of a connection issue and more of a video driver one sometimes.
