Xbox One X was stuck on loading screen but now wont register HDMi

I noticed that the Xbox was quite glitchy and laggy and would boot me out of games after a few minutes of playing. It stayed like this for 2 days and then when I turned it on the following day, it was stuck on the green Xbox loading screen. I waited just
over 3 hours for it to load but it never did and it seemed it was a common issue, so this left me no other option but to soft reset the Xbox. I reseted the Xbox so that I kept all my games downloaded but in order to do that I had to do an offline updated as
I was greeted with and error 203 which wouldn't let me update it online. When I finally did manage to update it and load it up, the Xbox was still slightly laggy but not as significant as before. I loaded up the game and straight away noticed that this did
not resolve the issue. It then kicked me out the game and was very glitchy like before. The only option left for me now was to do a full reset on the Xbox, and so I did. I also had to do an offline update for this aswell as the error 203 was still there. When
the system reset finished, the Xbox was working fine until I loaded the game again. I then decided to reset it again. This time when resetting the Xbox, the HDMI wouldn't register and wouldn't appear on my screen even though it was plugged in. I tried it with
numerous of HDMI cables but it still didn't managed to work and I also tried to boot up the safe menu but still never worked. Now I have an Xbox one x which just over a year old that is struggling to work with no screen. It a bit of a shame as this supposed
to be the flagship model especially when I bought it for $450. I still have 3 years guarantee with the Xbox but in these times of uncertainty, the Xbox will be gone for a long period of time before fixed. Could do with some assistance. Thanks

just to be sure, do you have an external storage device connected to the console?

If so then be sure to check if there is a difference without it being connected.

Since I had weird slow/lag issues on dashboard and with loading games, which were eventually caused by a faulty external storage device.

I know it doesn't explain the HDMI not working, but if you use an external storage device, it's worth to try and see what happens without it being connected.

If the same thing happens without it being connected or none was connected at all and none of the steps on this support page fix it:

Then I would still suggest sending it in for a repair/replacement when you feel ready as long as it is within warranty period ;-)

Thank you for replying, I do not have a external storage device connected to the xbox. It seems I will have to send in for repair and will just have to be patient.

If you have already tried a few hdmi cables , i feel you will need to send it for repair 🤔 as you have went through most of the steps to try and fix it 👍

I've been having the same issue. On Xbox One X it gets stuck/freezes on loading. After several attempts I left it on the frozen loading screen.. after 10 mins it loads in correctly.
