    (UPDATE) Warranty now seems to be sorted. Xbox One X Warranty :)

    Hi all.

    Purchased a Brand new Xbox One X from argos.

    Box was sealed. It even smells brand new aha.

    Everything about it was brand new.

    However when i activated my Warranty it only gave me 6 month!

    Contacted Xbox support via chat/phone. To be told on the same day it was manufactured the warranty was also activated. hmm!?

    6 Month warranty is not right. It should be 12 month, from the purchase date not manufactured date

    Has anyone had a similar issue and was you able to sort it?

    Your warranty expired? The Xbox One X came out in november 2017. With 2 year warranty, that would mean the very first X will run out of warranty in november 2019.

    Your console its out of warranty?

    Or in the devices tab it appears within warranty?

    You may need to ask to this e-commerce brand if your console region is India or from where they imported the device

    Brand new xbox one X having issues with wireless controllers - controllers dc when ethernet is removed, randomly, and sometimes dont work at all.

    If it is an issue with the brand new Xbox One X, you have voided your warranty.
