Xbox one x warranty UK

Hi there. Ive been having some trouble with image display on my xbox one x... it does not show any picture or sound... which has lead me to the conclusion that i need to send it off for repair via microsoft (its still in warranty). Now my issue is that
it dose not have the warranty sticker present on the back where the screw is. I can confirm that the xbox has never been opened. If Will it be rejected for repair because of this ? Was hoping someone could shed some light on this stressful situation. As you
can understand i dont want to lose out on my console or be out of pocket because of a simple sticker. Im sure any sort of tech specialist that looks at the internals of the console will be able to indicate that eveything is factory and untouched. Im aware
that the laws here in the UK are different from the United states. Cheers in advance for any advice !

Are you able to return it to the place you bought it from quoting The Consumer Rights Act?

Hi Singerx1993. This will be rejected, unfortunatly.

The warrenty stickers will need to be intact for a repair to be done for free.

I had a punctured sticker from the wooden surface it was on and was told the same thing.

In regards to display image on your console, have you tried to use a Different HDMI cable? Hav you also tried to connect it with different TV?

If the warranty sticker is no longer attached to your console, there is a high possibility that your console wont be repaired as it loses its warranty to get it fixed for free. But you can contact Xbox Support and check for an option.

Yes, believe it or not i have tried another tv and hdmi cable... logically thats the first thing to do.... would you not agree ? Hence coming to the conclusion it needs to be sent off 😓 thank you So much for that bit of crucial advice. 😂

the purchase for the item. This is sometimes the case with third-party retailers." The consoles in the UK do receive a one year warranty. However, you will need to contact the retailer to confirm the warranty activation date. Argos may have activated the warranty
on the console by purchasing it before selling it to you. Be sure to let us know the results!
