    community!

    I'm here in order to find better answer to my problem.

    My brother was living in Australia when he bought his xbox one x just before the pandemic started. He had no choice but to leave the country and come back to Europe (Spain).

    A month ago his xbox broke down. When turning the console both error E106 and E102 and then the system suggest to send the product to assistance.

    He tried to contact the Microsoft team and over the chat they explained to him that the warranty was only valid on the country of purchase. This been Australia is not a place he will be able to go back for at least until end 2021 due covid-19 restriction
    as you can all imagined.

    So I've tried to contact the Microsoft team from UK where I live. The call centre call me back and the agent was the most unhelpful person ever. I guess a person who did not have any knowledge at all about product, assistant and extra information and I bet
    she was reading from a script. I don't have issue with her personally as she is just doing what told but she is a representative of your company that makes billions each year. I found it utterly unprofessional.

    I want to know how the warranty can be extended to Europe as this pandemic wasn't anyone fault and I was expecting Microsoft to have plan of action considering all his costumer and all the money they spent on products. I can't believe this can't be solved.

    My brother has been a costumer from day one buying the first xbox on March 2001. He is has been a loyal costumer since then which is 20 years worth of products, consoles, collectables and anything xbox related. I can even imagine how much he spent over those
    years. However, I see how a loyal costumers has been treated leaves me speechless.

    Anyone have a similar situation? Managed to extend their warranty to a different country due the circumstance created by covid? Many companies had to adapt and change regulations, why is not Microsoft doing the same? We are talking of a multi billionaire
    company!

    Got it from Flipkart with one year warranty. and I did try to reach them on their customer support, chat and phone support not available due to Covid 19.

    Thanks for the information, is there a way to reach to email them with proof of purchase.

    I think it may be because of covid 19 because when i went on xbox's home page, there was a notification saying there are gonna be some issues and they might not reply asap due to covid but they'll try their best to reply and help
