Xbox One X vs Xbox One S

When I had the Pro, I found the store took longer to open (probably due to it having GDDR5 memory). But the rest of the UI was fast and fluid. Hopefully they role out an HDCP protection on and off setting like they do for the Pro. That way Youtubers can
use their Hauppauge or Elgato (common PVR recording devices) to share videos. Because the video sharing features Microsoft has on Xbox One are pretty cheap. With a PVR you can record unlimited minutes game music and XBL chatter.

But yes. Xbox One X when it comes out will have over 50 games which will be Xbox One X enhanced as stated by Microsoft here: Xbox One Games | Xbox

    It depends on you.

If you're on a budget, or don't mind playing games for what they are, or don't mind slow boot ups and shutdowns and slow UI processing performance due to hardware restrictions of a console which has a relatively weak GPU and lower clocked processor...............
    get the Xbox One S.

If you'd like a sleeker, thinner, smaller Xbox (good for people who live in tiny houses like the UK or in a CBD apartment, where space is restricted), or want a more efficient console that can process everything faster cause you know, you have a schedule
with school uni or work, or want better visuals in games, faster load times, faster boot ups and shutdowns, and a console that you can show off to the console wars competition, cause we can talk specs too lets see yours................ get the Xbox One X.
X is bad. X is cool. X is fun. and X is faster. (You can tell I've had too much sugar this weekend)

Both are pretty good consoles. But if you want the best, let's have an X on 3.

  2. Many thanks for that tip - 2 hours that is major improvement. Not sure what else they put in that controller that suck the batteries - if touchpad or something else. PS3 never had that problem.

I actually read a comment on Playstation forum from a bunch of members - the light makes it easier to find the controller?

That's kind of funny, I think - you loose where you put controller???? Xbox One X vs Xbox One S :D

On Xbox I am also reluctant to use headphone connector on controller, since each passive headphone also will use up power.

So look at various solutions over digital outs to hifi amp and headphones from there etc.

Some games I found really benefit from hearing where threats are having phones.

I'd love to play the rest of Uncharted series, maybe even remastered fist three - and Last of us as well. GranTurismo Sports etc.

But will check out StarWars when it comes - since Amy Hennig, writing story for Uncharted, is involved - and is to be on Xbox too, so looking forward to that.

As far as I'm concerned, as a seasoned console player (who has also embraced two iterations of the PlayStation 3), the light bar is pretty much redundant. In the heat of a battle, the last thing you'd wanna do is take your eyes off screen! Perhaps it comes
into its own in a more casual sense, or where PS VR might need to keep track of your location in a room, but the only time I noticed *any* color coding is when I hit the touchpad by mistake (when I actually wanted the teensy-weensy 'options' button right next
to it) and there was a green sliver of light - presumably my health. But meh, whatever Xbox One X vs Xbox One S :p

You can't go wrong with ANY game by Naughty Dog! As a preorder bonus for Uncharted Lost Legacy, I got the digital version of Jak & Daxter (which is nice to have), but I'd sooner launch into the Nathan Drake collection next Xbox One X vs Xbox One S :) One feature that I believe is
being incorporated into One X is downsampling for 1080p owners. This is absolutely *tremendous* as you get all the benefits of higher detail without upgrading. In TLoU Remastered, for example, you can either select 1800p @ 60fps with 'normal' shadows, or 2160p
@ 30fps with 'sharp' shadows. Again, in the heat of battle, it's nice that you can delineate every last pixel on screen, but if you're wanting to maintain an edge over superhuman A.I., there's simply no substitute for speed - 60fps all the way! Xbox One X vs Xbox One S :D

Could it be that light was supposed to be picked up by camera for certain games of fitness or similar - instead of those llight bulbs they are selling?

Only thing I found not so thrilling about Naughty Dog was how they handled ever spinning ring problems on UC3 on PS3.

    - this only happends to a small number of people

    kind of excuse.

    That's when I sold my PS3 and got 360.

Sony also did some decisions when PS Vita came as well, and threw out some code for backups among others - to fit Vita stuff in. So backups usually took 2.5 hours suddenly took 16 hours to do!!!! I felt Sony did not know what they
    were doing at the time.

  5. I decided to put my money where my mouth is and have bought a Xbox One S.

Perhaps Smile and I can collaborate and do comparisons on games we both like.

    xbox one sereis s

Fyi the xbox series s/x has no one in it

This is to reduce the confusion between series s/x and one when it comes to.compatibility

Only the xbox one s all digital is the only xbox one that isn't compatible with discs

However there is no limitation as far as xbox one other then the digital only console as far as xbox one games goes

Vs the series x /s they are backward with xbox one and with the series s limitation as far as discs goes

Any point buying an X for 1080p TV?

    my opinion:

the xbox one x is more powerful vs the xbox one s

so if the price is the same i would go for the x regardless of the fact that i dont have a 4K tv

    Crossplay(sort of)

If Project Scarlett gonna be a new generation console probably not, like now you have Xbox One vs 360, which doesnt have crossplay. Xbox One X, One S, One S All-Digital are not new generation, are just a hardware upgrade so the content are available with
Xbox One (Fat). The confirmation is wait to be if is gonna to be really a new generation console.

Can i unshrink ganes on xbox series s

Yes but as mentioned you will have issues

    It upscales not native

Only the xbox one x and series x are 4k native

    https://www.tomsguide.com/face-off/xbox-series-x-vs-xbox-series-s

The reason why smart delivery compresses files because of the CPU and GPU power and storage limitations

    https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/consoles/compare

    True 4k vs 1440p

    Most.games will.only run 1080p max on series s

It will do less CPU intensive stuff like 4k streaming

    Series x does 4k 60hx with possible 120hz (dropped fps )

    Xbox one x does only 4k 30hz

    System Link Error (Vers. Mismatch)

I'm not sure about that, as far I remember. All consoles that has the same version (Such as default original xbox game) thats backwards compatible on all consoles, will indeed allow OG vs 360 vs One (S AllDig X)
