Xbox One X vs Xbox One S

I am trying to figure out which Xbox to buy. The survey was not helpful. The Xbox One X is a lot more expensive. It is worth paying the extra money? If so, why?

    :)

Xbox One X vs Xbox One S

I have been lucky enough to play on all 3 consoles (Xbox One, S and X). I find that I enjoy using the X more than the other two. Mainly because it has more power and loads up games and apps faster. Often, when I'm online playing with friends I also find
that I load into the game itself faster than they do if they are not using an X.

Ultimately the final decision is yours. If you wallet votes for the least expensive option then definitely go with it.

If you're in the US there's a new feature called All Access. You should check it out as well.

'Xbox All Access' is a new subscription service with Xbox Live, Game Pass, and a console (updated)

    Hello!

If money is not a factor definitely go with the X. If you're trying to be budget conscious, one of the big factors is if you're going to use 4K or not. Personally I would go for the One S if I didn't intend to use 4K in at least the next couple years. If
you will or do intend to use 4K I would go with the X. Also if you're trying to be budget friendly I would go with the lowest Hard drive option and purchase an external USB drive to use. If you're using the X you will definitely want to do this, since it's
going to use a lot of additional storage space.

I’d only get the X if you have a 4k tv or plan on getting one.

  7. The Xbox One X is better as long as you have a 4K TV/Monitor.

If you have a 4k panel with HDR its a no brainer. If you don’t it’s still great but you don’t get as many noticable benefits.

I see others posting that you should go with the X if you have or are planning to get a 4k TV. Although this is true information it is not necessarily accurate.

I have an X but do not have a 4k TV. However, due to the upscaling of the X console I still get better sound and picture than if I was playing on a regular One or S.

  10. To be honest, even if you don't own a 4k TV I would still suggest getting the Xbox One X simply because of the horsepower, it's equivalent to a gtx980 !! Faster load times, better framerate, performance and quality modes and X enhanced games ! The Xbox
One S is great but the One X is a no brainer in terms of performance.

    xbox one sereis s

Fyi the xbox series s/x has no one in it

This is to reduce the confusion between series s/x and one when it comes to.compatibility

Only the xbox one s all digital is the only xbox one that isn't compatible with discs

However there is no limitation as far as xbox one other then the digital only console as far as xbox one games goes

Vs the series x /s they are backward with xbox one and with the series s limitation as far as discs goes

Any point buying an X for 1080p TV?

    my opinion:

the xbox one x is more powerful vs the xbox one s

so if the price is the same i would go for the x regardless of the fact that i dont have a 4K tv

    Crossplay(sort of)

If Project Scarlett gonna be a new generation console probably not, like now you have Xbox One vs 360, which doesnt have crossplay. Xbox One X, One S, One S All-Digital are not new generation, are just a hardware upgrade so the content are available with
Xbox One (Fat). The confirmation is wait to be if is gonna to be really a new generation console.

Can i unshrink ganes on xbox series s

Yes but as mentioned you will have issues

    It upscales not native

Only the xbox one x and series x are 4k native

The reason why smart delivery compresses files because of the CPU and GPU power and storage limitations

    https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/consoles/compare

    True 4k vs 1440p

    Most.games will.only run 1080p max on series s

It will do less CPU intensive stuff like 4k streaming

    Series x does 4k 60hx with possible 120hz (dropped fps )

    Xbox one x does only 4k 30hz

    System Link Error (Vers. Mismatch)

I'm not sure about that, as far I remember. All consoles that has the same version (Such as default original xbox game) thats backwards compatible on all consoles, will indeed allow OG vs 360 vs One (S AllDig X)
