    Xbox One X vertical and cooling.


    There are alot of "aftermarket" cooling options for the Xbox One. My question is it a good idea for the health of the system to use these? Many of them being the triple fan setup through an existing vent.

    Also, I thought I had seen this console was not designed for vertical use. Is this correct?

    I would not recommend that you use any 3rd party cooling on the consoles.

    Also using a vertical stand is perfectly fine.

    I have the scorpio edition and it came with a stand to use it vertically so I would say it's definitely fine! Mine stays cooler being used vertically.

    You can definitely store it vertically.

    Overheating near hdmi and power supply.

    Don't use wifi but use network cable should minimise lagging.

    If console overheating, don't put console inside cabinet, put console in the open flat horizontal add 4 rubberfeet at the bottom to rise console to cool better. Or buy a vertical stand to putconsole vertical cooling.
