Xbox One X Ventilation

Hi there,

I'd like to ask u, what means "enough Space"? I want to put my Xbox One X in a bookshelf, that has 20cm to the back, 30cm to the top,
but only 17mm to the left and to the right. Is thet enough, or does it get too hot inside?

Hello Caio,

It could overheat with the cloth on top of it. On an Xbox one original there are vents on the top. On the Xbox one S and X there isn't. I wouldn't recommend putting a cloth over it due to could block airflow. here is a guide for

Overheat

My Xbox One X is being overheated every time i play on it, the ventilation sounds noisy, is that a problem? What should i do?

I'd say that's fairly close. There's not really a minimum amount, but if the air can't circulate then it's going to keep heating up.

I'd suggest testing for yourself. Turn it on and feel it after a couple minutes, and then test after a couple minutes of game play. But ultimately, I'd give it as much space as you can.
