Xbox One X Upgrade: Microsoft Rewards Points Credit

I recently upgraded to an Xbox One X (purchased from Best Buy), and downloaded the Microsoft Rewards app as part of the Insider program. I have been a member of the rewards program for a while, and I saw a promotion on the main page
of the app about receiving 50,000 points for upgrading to a One X. I chatted with a support rep, and they directed me here as they were limited in what they could interact with in terms of Microsoft Rewards.

Is there still a way to receive credit for this purchase?

I have a quest to upgrade to an Xbox One X, but I already have an Xbox One X Scorpio Edition. Could I please have credit for the rewards quest please.

The Xbox Rewards program has never had any offers for purchasing or upgrading to a One X.

What's the difference between Microsoft Rewards points and Xbox Live Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems?

One Microsoft Rewards point is equal to one Xbox Live Rewards Credit. Microsoft Rewards points can be redeemed whenever you want for the rewards you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog, including Microsoft Store digital gift cards. Xbox Live Rewards
Credits are automatically converted to your local currency every two weeks and deposited in your Microsoft account, while MyVIP Gems could be redeemed for items in the MyVIP Vault.

I believe you may be looking at your Microsoft Rewards Credits. The console upgrade offer was done through the Xbox Live Rewards program, which will place Rewards Credits into your account. These Credits will be placed as pending 15 days after your shipping
date. They will remain there until the next available deposit date, which occurs bi-monthly. At that point, they will be placed as currency into your Microsoft Account.

Your account points, are they Xbox Rewards credits (rewards.xbox.com), or are the Microsoft Rewards (formerly called Bing Rewards) points?

For Xbox Rewards credits have you requested a deposit already on rewards.xbox.com? Keep in mind deposits are done by the 15th and 30th of the month. If you requested a deposit, did it give you a specific date?

If they are Microsoft Reward points (Bing rewards) Microsoft.com/rewards, you have to redeem them for one of the options though that site.

They are two separate programs with two different redemption options. Microsoft Rewards won't show on Xbox Rewards same as Xbox Rewards credits won't show in your Microsoft Rewards page.
