Xbox one X Update has bricked my xbox ( Warranty Service repair unavailable)

Hey Guys last Saturday my xbox decided to update, and on finishing it switched off. About an hour later i decided to boot up and play a game but only to find the green load up screen was jerky and struggling (it too 2-3 mins to load) then i had a black unresponsive
dashboard.

So i tried to preform a hard reset as advised on the Microsoft forums along with offline update and now my xbox powers up and just stays black. Im guessing the update has corrupt my HDD somehow.

Iv tried to book a service repair as my xbox one x is not even 6 months old only to find that this is not available and throwing this error message up:

We’re sorry. We are unable to process your request online at this time. Please contact Microsoft Support for assistance.

Iv tried calling and there is nobody to help. So what do i do?

I have just brought the battle pass on a game which i can no longer use, and also not able to use my xbox gold account so at this moment im £18 down.

Can any Online Microsoft personal point me in the right direction please.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We are sorry for the issues with the site. We recommend requesting a call from support. Here is a helpful guide to get to request a call.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Do you have an original Xbox One, a Xbox One S or Xbox One X? If you own a Xbox One S or X, you can still have a repair set up when the console is out of warranty. Keep in mind, a Xbox One S or X that is out of warranty
has a fee that must be paid in order to be repaired. The original Xbox One is not able to be repaired if it is out of warranty. You can contact the
Xbox Support Team if you are having issues with setting up a repair for an out of warranty Xbox One S or X. We will provide steps on how to contact the support team. We hope this

MattMainor what is the error appearing once the download finishes if this is what i think it is

(E100 Error)

On the update screen this is the xbox one equivalent to a ring of death i would suggest sending it in for a warranty or taking it to CEX for a cheaper repair that will however void your warranty.

this error plagued my xbox one x and it has been a brick since its due to a hard drive burn out but as the Blue Ray and the Hard drive come paired microsoft are the best option.

Hello again, for the Xbox One X Microsoft has a paid repair service for consoles.

Dependent on the model of the console he has (which since you said power supply/brick I'm guessing its the original model but still), here is the "won't turn on" troubleshooter: https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/console-wont-power-on

If none of that works, I'd recommend buying a new power brick online and see if that works. They should be super cheap because they're not that high in demand anymore as the 'power brick' is being more or less slowly phased out in the newer Xbox One and
Series X models.

Then, if that doesn't work consider servicing. Its free if covered
under warranty, if not... then the price depends on region and nature of the repair.
