    bought an xbox one x a little over a year ago and maybe used it 20 times. The HDMI timer switch went out (get no signal) and to get it repaired it will cost $250. I can get a new one for $299

    I have had my One X since it launched and has no issues at all other than having a faulty HDMI cable that gave me the same message as you, No signal.

    I just replaced the faulty cable and it has been working great since then.

    I would suggest you change the HDMi cable to see if it fixes the issue.

    That's not knowing hardware.... that's common sense to try that first. second would be swap out hard drive. If still no video would be timer chip

    I build computers, so I know hardware. It is a faulty hdmi timer switch.

    Sent it to a repair shop and this is the response
