Xbox One X unexpectedly turned off while playing - now dead!?

Hi,

i have played on my Xbox One X after i watched a blu-ray 2 hours ago. The game was digital so i did not need a disk.

Suddenly it turned off and i cannot switch it on.

When i press on the Xbox-Button on the front the symbol lights and you can hear the turn-on sound.

But the light goes off immediately (0.5 secondes).

I tried another power cable but still not working. Same with socket and all tips i could find on the internet. I also waited 1 hour to try again (maybe to hot) but still nothing.

Can anyone help me what to do?

PS: Im from austria so my english is not good, sorry for that!

Xbox One X Fan sounds way louder than usual

If you play a Xbox One X enhanced game it's normal for the fan to be louder than when on Xbox Home or watching video apps like Netflix or Twitch.

However, the console turning off is not. Can you check if your console is directly connected to a wall outlet, or if you use a power strip? Can you connect the console directly to the wall outlet? If possible, also try a different wall outlet.

Xbox turns on then off instantly

I'd just like to add that we do have pages with troubleshooting information regarding your console turning off unexpectedly or not how it's supposed to.

If I were you, I'd check the articles either entitled
Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off for the Xbox one or

Sorry for the issue with the console. We recommend unplugging the console completely. Leave it unplugged for 10-15 minutes then plug back in and try it.

Then you will need a repair. You can do so by going online at
Device support or you may request a call back. When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
• Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
• Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips
  
• Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you set up a repair. You can also see if there is a Microsoft store near you and call to set up an appointment to bring it in there.

there is also a quick fix that has worked for some people in the forums:

When you start the console and listen to the beep but it wont start repeatedly press the eject button, once the disc is ejected or the button is pressed the console will tun on OK...

Since you already tried some of the solutions... it's a possibility that you will need to give your console a service or repair, You can find instructions on how to apply or this here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices
