Xbox One X Unable to Install Games

Tried to update Destiny 2 on 6/7/22 and kept pausing download. Cancelled and restarted. Tried downloading another game and same issue. Deleted game and tried to install, smaller packs or apps would download, games freeze after a few gigs. Hard restart and restored to factory presets and same issue. Small apps or dlc will download, but anything large pauses after a few minutes. Has anyone else run into this?

There is no one higher we can escalate this to. All help that has been posted here is the correct troubleshooting. There is only so much we can do for one game that someone is unable to purchase. As I stated have had this myself with a couple backward compatible
games. Black ops 2 for some reason I was unable to purchase on my Xbox one X, but was able to on a Xbox 360. Soon as I did it was available on my Xbox one X to install.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

If I may ask, are you trying to install the game on your external hard drive? A corrupted hard drive may cause these issues as well which means we need to check this.

If you're trying to install the game on your external hard drive or if there is an external hard drive kindly unplug it and then perform a powercycle before reinstalling the game. Keep the hard drive unplugged.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Yes this game is installed in my XBOX ONE X console.

This install was on a fresh from the box new Xbox One X. Also, you cannot install BC games in offline mode, the game must be downloaded from the store to complete installation. The game was uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the same disc is
currently working on another original Xbox One console. If you read the links provided, there are several other users that were working successfully on the Xbox One X until an update that hit around the middle of August. After this update, it seems that the
game is not working for anyone on an Xbox One X console.

The same thing is happening to me. The remote install was working before, but as of the middle of april, I have been unable to install things remotely. Have verified all of the settings required are enabled on my Xbox One X, I have reset my network and set everything back up again, but to no avail. Still just getting the generic message, "Uh oh, something went wrong" when attempting to set up a game to remote install.
