Xbox One X UHD/4K BluRays have hitching/skips

I recently got "The Thing" in UHD format and it looks absolutely incredible though, after only a couple skips up until the 30minute mark, it now skips constantly in the same places and frequently. It will pause, artifact and/or straight up halt for a while with no way to fix it.

I have tried just about every fix;

Disabling BD-Live

Deleting persistent storage

Letting the disc drive pull for an extra 1-2 seconds before letting go

Cleaning the disc in different ways & holding it more carefully before inserting it

Reinstalling the player app

Trying to let the TV decode audio (disc wont play footage due to other issue)

Hard restarting the Xbox

Reseating the HDMI cable for a new handshake process

Only inserting the disc after a hard restart with no player app installed (installing it via more forced methods)

Resetting the Xbox entirely

Probably a couple more, but I think you get the picture..

Is there any fix at all for something like this that isnt trying to get the Xbox replaced? I got it used with 4K disc playback being one of the bigger reasons for buying it and i'm not spending more than the Xbox just to get a 4K HDR Blu Ray player but I seriously do want to watch 4K Discs as that was some of the best movie quality i've ever seen and I care a little too much about things like bit rate lol

I do not unfortunately, I really tried cleaning it in multiple ways and holding it in multiple ways too and just to no avail.. I'll try it again but I'm pretty dead sure it isn't that and sounds very identical to the issues plenty of people have had with the Xbox One S/X consoles doing this on 4K Blu-Rays

Do you know anyone else with a 4k player that you can test to make sure it's not an issue with the disc itself? Personally, I sometimes have the same issue using my stand-alone 4k player but removing the disc and blowing across the surface usually resolves it...sometimes I need to wipe it carefully with a cloth.

To me, it seems that 4k discs are so much more susceptible to the smallest of defects, even if that defect is invisible to the naked eye

KKeep in mind xbox one's only supports 4k on uhd blurays not games

Every bluray I have (one 4k UHD Bluray and dozens of regular bluray titles) does not work with the Xbox One S I have. They work just fine in my other Xbox One (regular 500gb, not S or elite XBO, and obviously not the 4k UHD bluray) but every time I get an
HDCP error for 5 minutes flipping between the error screen and bluray app frozen, then it just tells me it cannot read the disc. Apparently the Xbox One S needs a different bluray app than the regular Xbox One bluray app. Maybe if the community was allowed
to make a bluray app for the Xbox One S it could save Microsoft some face since I have more faith in the community at fixing a problem via their own bluray app than Microsoft fixing it.

Well two things first xbox one s is NOT a 4k console

Second it's only when you play UHD movies or streaming UHD content that you get 4k from an xbox one s

Projectors aren't the greatest for 4k compatibility it's more for.computers and blurays then consoles which are more stricter to vesa
