Xbox One X system update not working

I've booted up my Xbox for the first time in a couple of weeks, and it asks to update. Sure, no problem. Then, it proceeds to stay at the initial screen of "updating console" with no progress made on the progress bar for several hours. I try turning it
off and then on again, same thing happens. I've gone through the steps on the support page, even resetting the console (while keeping games and apps); however, that just led to the same result, just with it prompting me to set up the console now. I have attempted
to do an offline update, but every time I go to the download link for OSU1 in the offline update page it gives me a 404 error. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fix this problem?

My xbox is an original xbox one not an S or X. Sound system fully updated and working well for everything except xbox one netflix.

Those are also both giving a 404 error. Is there someplace else that I'm supposed to download them from?

Edit: Sorry about that, it was evidently a problem with my internet company, switching to a hotspot fixed it instantly.

Thanks for reching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with update. When you try the offline update we recommend using OSU2 or OSU3 not OSU1. OSU1 is for the original Xbox one. Here is a

guide for the offline update.

The current OS version on your Xbox One console requires you to install two updates: for the first one you should use the file
OSU3 (if your OS version is
6.2.9781.0) or OSU2 (for all other OS versions). For the second update, you will use the file
OSU1. It is important that you wait until the first update (OSU2 or
OSU3) is complete before you begin installing
OSU1.

Hi I've tried reset options on my xbox one s and one x it worked but xbox series consoles do not work so i tried offline system update on series x it's worked only for one day i earn achievements in Forza Horizon 5 hot wheels dlc but in the next day it didn't worked no notification or sound anything,so i tried my friend xbox series x this same problem happening looks like it's a Microsoft side issue.

Try the offline method to get a correct update of your system.

If its still not working, you probably have to send your Xbox one x to repair center.
